Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LFGG (https://lfgg.app) collects, why, and what control you have. Short version: we collect only what's needed to match you with a crew, we never sell your data, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- From Discord when you log in: your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and email address.
- Your profile: display name, time zone, play style, voice chat preference, the optional Veteran and Parent tags, and the games and platforms you play.
- Your schedule: the weekly hours you mark as available.
- Group activity: groups you create or join, invites, session RSVPs, check-ins, attendance votes, points, and your reliability score.
- Agreements: when you confirmed you're 18+ and accepted these policies.
- Basic technical data: our hosting and database providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To log you in and keep you logged in.
- To match you with people whose schedules and games overlap with yours.
- To run groups and weekly sessions, and to calculate points and reliability.
- To keep LFGG safe, including reviewing reports and preventing abuse.
What other users can see
Other logged-in users can see your display name, tags, play style, voice chat preference, shared games, the city from your time zone, your reliability score, and when your free time overlaps with theirs. Members of your groups can also see your RSVPs, check-ins, and session results. Your email address, points, and individual attendance votes are never shown to other users.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. We only use these service providers to run LFGG:
- Supabase: database and login (servers in the United States).
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Discord: login. Discord's own privacy policy applies to your Discord account.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile and activity, except for anything we need to keep for safety reports or legal reasons. If an account is banned for breaking our Terms, we delete it but keep its Discord ID, display name, email address, and the reason for the ban, so the same account can't sign up again.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile and schedule at any time.
- The Veteran and Parent tags are always optional.
- You can delete your account anytime from the bottom of your profile page. We keep a small record tied to your Discord ID (how many times the account was deleted, your last reliability score, and any active suspension) so these carry over if you rejoin. A Discord account can delete and rejoin up to 3 times.

Adults only
LFGG is only for people 18 and older. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will delete it.
Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll let you know in the app and ask you to review them.
