Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the LFGG team ("we" or "us"), who run LFGG (https://lfgg.app). By creating an account or using LFGG, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use LFGG

• You must be at least 18 years old. LFGG is for adults only.
• You need a Discord account to log in, and you must follow Discord's own terms.
• One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone or share your account.
• The information in your profile should be truthful, including tags like Veteran or Parent.

2. Beta service

LFGG is in early testing. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data (including points) may occasionally be reset. We'll try to give notice of big changes.

3. How to behave

LFGG exists to help adults find a steady, friendly crew. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or stalk anyone, on or off LFGG.
• Post or send hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content.
• Share another person's private information without their permission.
• Scam, spam, advertise, or recruit people for unrelated purposes.
• Cheat the attendance system, for example by voting dishonestly or using fake accounts.
• Try to break, overload, or access parts of LFGG you aren't allowed to.
• Do anything illegal.

4. Meeting other people

LFGG helps you find people, but we don't run background checks and can't guarantee who anyone is or how they'll act. You are responsible for your own interactions. Use good judgment: keep personal details private until you trust someone, and if you meet anyone in person, meet in a public place and tell someone where you'll be. Report anyone who makes you feel unsafe.

5. Sessions, points, and reliability

• Your reliability score is calculated automatically from RSVPs, check-ins, and attendance votes from other group members. It is visible to other users.
• Points are a fun reward for showing up. They have no cash value, can't be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for money, and can only be used for in-app items such as cosmetics.
• We may adjust points or reliability scores to fix errors or undo cheating, and we may change how they work.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you put on LFGG (your display name, profile details, and so on). You give us permission to store and show it to other users as needed to run the service. You're responsible for what you post, including any Discord links you share.

7. Reports, suspensions, and leaving

We may review reports, remove content, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. You can stop using LFGG at any time and delete your account from the bottom of your profile page. Deleting your account doesn't erase a suspension or your reliability record if you rejoin, and a Discord account can delete and rejoin up to 3 times. For help, email support@lfgg.app.

8. No warranty

LFGG is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always work, be error-free, or that you'll find a group.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the LFGG team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users, whether online or in person. LFGG is free to use, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll ask you to accept the new version before continuing to use LFGG.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA.
